This will be achieved by continuously reducing the maximum target levels of tolerable blood lead exposure and implementing the Company policies by executing the action plans based on the Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) results and main priorities for each workplace.
In addition, hygiene checks and interviews are carried out involving the entire line management to increase the level of awareness and make individual action plans that help reduce the employee's blood lead value.

EHS Exide Group Director, working for the company since December 2021. Graduate in Chemistry, master's degree in environmental engineering and management, safety at work and MBA.
Driving the EHS strategy and guidelines of the Company's activities. The main challenges are the standardization of processes, definition and implementation of the management system and adapting the Company to the new regulatory challenges regarding worker exposure to lead, sustainability standards and environmental requirements.
Experienced over the last 20 years in creating the right working conditions to ensure prevention of accidents & incidents by influencing others and catalyzing the required change to implement a safety and environment culture, quality management and assurance systems in industrial sectors of manufacturing and energy (solar, wind, transport), as well as manufacturing of explosives and ammunition.

EHS Manager Exide in Motion and Recycling Divisions, working for the company since 2009. Graduate in Environmental Science, Master's degree in H&S at work and Integrated management systems.
I started my professional career in Exide in 2009 as EHS manager of one of the Automotive plants located in Spain, and I am currently occupying the position of EHS manager in two business units for almost 2 years.
Supporting the EHS strategy and guidelines of the Company's activities.
