The occupational health and safety system in areas of lead exposure at KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.

The purpose of the presentation will be to show the occupational health and safety system in areas of lead exposure at KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. (KGHM). Occupational exposure to lead dust and its inorganic compounds generates the need to protect employees, their relatives and the environment. The presentation will highlight what KGHM is doing to achieve business goals while caring for employees and their health. In particular, the presentation will discuss practices in the areas of: promoting safety and save behaviour, biological monitoring, monitoring of the work environment, implementation of the protective barriers and protection system, and use of personal protective equipment.
