The increased demand for forklifts and 24-hour warehousing and deliveries is putting increased demand on the technical requirements of fleet batteries.

At ELBC, I’ll be joining the ‘How Lead Is Powering Industry’ session to share insight into the critical role of new technology such as battery fleet management software for keeping the motive power industry on the move.

My technical talk at ELBC will demonstrate how you can let your equipment automatically alert you and avoid downtime of vehicles and ultimately production and delivery delays. Using state-of-the-art software called Motion+ Fleet I will show how smart connected chargers keep you up-to-date with battery performance using a traffic light based reports guide through the optimization of productivity and energy consumption.

The role of life time in a battery is a crucial technical parameter for motive power fleets, and my presentation at ELBC will cover some of the key ways that new technology can make batteries smarter and more efficient. The system we have developed at Exide helps ensure optimum utilization of batteries and reduces downtime, while ensuring longer lifetime for the battery.

I look forward to seeing you at ELBC and sharing our latest thinking and systems.
